Otautahi Tattoo
The story of Otautahi as a whole starts with a humble beginning in the garden city of Christchurch, The shop and the artists started to gain momentum within New Zealand and then soon the world! But all that came crashing down when tragically we lost our Christchurch shop in the 2011 earthquake.
After Otautahi branching out to Auckland & Queenstown, it was time to come back to the 03! So with that we did. Three years after the earthquake we reopened the doors to our Christchurch Tattoo Studio & moved location to the fast pace Riccarton road. But at end of 2019 we finally moved back to where we belong, in the heart of our rebuilt city. Right next to the bridge of remembrance on the edge of the Avon river.
The setup is fresh and unique with a wide open plan layout, 9 stations and various tattoo artists, both national and international, specialising in their own unique flavors and styles. At Otautahi Tattoo we have some of the best tattoo artists in Ta Moko and Tatau, full colour, Neo traditional and old school tattooing as well realism, black and grey and lettering. We would love to meet You and have you visit our friendly and professional Christchurch tattoo studio and would be honored to do your next tattoo!
