Fritz's Wieners
Christchurch has been treated to Fritz’s Wieners mouth-watering smoked bratwurst, ever since they set up shop in the original Container Mall, right where Riverside is now located.
Its Riverside home continues to serve up New Zealand’s very best version of the German classic - so good it would give even the crowds of Munich’s Oktoberfest something to jump up and down about.
Fritz’s menu celebrates the timeless joy of wrapping up a grilled sausage in a freshly baked baguette, topped with golden onions, sauerkraut and a good dressing of sauce. Pick from traditional favourites like the frankfurter, spicy bratwurst and currywurst, grab a double wiener to really bust your hunger or get adventurous with Fritz’s monthly special.
