Castros is one of the first Resturants to open within the Riverside Market, Openning its doors in 2019, the vision of Castro's Tapas & Bars was to bring the owner Richard Castros love of authentic and unique Spanish cuisines and a place for family and friends to gather to the heart of Christchurch.
With its large deck overlooking the Market and Foothills in the distance, a unique colorful and quirky interior. Castros Tapas and Bar still strives to provide a comfturble welcoing slowed down place within a busy and hetic City Center. The concept of family and friens sitting, taking time to catch up and simply enjoying time with the people with the people who you come through our doors, is still the most important thing to him and to the Castros team. To gather, share good food and drinks will always be the core of what Castros Tapas and bar is truly about.
